We all benefit from a healthy backyard environment. Whether it be attracting the variety of birds and other wildlife we see in our yard everyday, or simply lowering the amount of mosquitoes snacking on us as we spend time outdoors.
Our natural resource and shared asset requires upkeep to keep it safe, healthy, and usable. Here are a few issues that need our ongoing effort and attention. Some of these problems are much larger than our dues are designed to cover, so please consider donating to help support our natural resource.
We have encroaching invasive plants that need to be removed or maintained.
The Emerald Ash Borer, and the growth of the marshland has decimated our trees. Tree work needs to be done to remove dead trees in our picnic grove and we should consider new plantings to help revive the space and fight erosion. Learn More...

Community members managing invasive Phragmites and clearing clogged stream. This simple method has helped to minimize standing water and allowed the stream to continue its normal path.
Even water from relatively small water events breach our stream banks from past flooding and bank erosion. Building back the eroded banks would be an easy solution.
